EAST VILLAGE BOARD OF DIRECTORS POSITION OPEN
Now is the time to make a real difference in our community ! The East Village seeks applicants to fill the vacancy of Bob Schweitzer's term- until the end of 2009. Applications are available at the Property Manager's Office and will be enclosed with the May newsletter. For further details or more information, contact Ginny Nissenbaum or Bud Lautenbach.
Locker Room update- The Men's and Ladies locker room will remain closed untill at least May 26, 2008 due to the extensive renovations that Minto will be completing. This is to our betterment. Thank you for your understanding.
Channel 63 update- Received word today, April 29 , that our unit was received by the repair center and the problem is software, not hardware. We hope for a speedy repair, which would allow us to get the system working again. Thanks for your patience.
Keep Our Roads Safe
Many of our residents are walking in our streets, instead of on our sidewalks. We have had several near misses as drivers try to navigate around residents walking, sometimes 2 and 3 across, in the street. Everyone is encouraged to walk on the sidewalk.
PLEASE UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE PROFILES
In the May edition of our newsletter is a list of email addresses that are bouncing back to us as incorrect. Please take a moment to check the list and see if you are there, then correct your email address on the website. Everyone is encouraged to fill out the new profiles with your birthday, hobbies, etc. You get to your profile by clicking on "Your Profile" on the top left side of this page. This information is confidential, but allows the Board to understand our residents better. There is even a box to write your suggestions. Thank you.
